Morning Ceri,
Hope you are well and enjoying the summer, just to let you know the boys got home late yesterday from the Anglesey International and all did very well on a very challenging course we did not win but lost the top retriever award by only 3 points, the scoring was very good from these top handlers with Andy Latham winning with a score of 95/100 this was followed by 93/100 followed by three dogs on 92/100 and this is where we slotted in with Nigel Probert. As you can see at this level it is so close, but in the end we came fourth out of the five teams that were there, from a personal view the top international dog is out of FFynongain Silk, so we can at least say Wales had a big part on the day.
As everyone knows this event is the hardest on the International calendar. This year as normal the weather was not going to help the event and we were very lucky that we had our CSJ fleece jackets and I must say these are excellent, we by far looked very smart in our kit and we now will move on from this week and look forward to Ireland in two weeks and ill let you know how we get on as soon as we get home.
Thank you Ceri,
Huw
Well done Huw and all the Wales Team from all of us at CSJ. It’s a tough event and you all did really well and as you say, Wales had a big part in the day. You looked great in your kit and we’re with you all the way.
