The Beagle Welfare Funday was a great success on 27. 7.2014 at Marbury Park, Cheshire.

The Marbury Beagle Walk and Fun Day (27/07/14) was a great success, enjoyed by about 200 Beagles and their families. In a beautiful location, with perfect weather, over £1400 was raised and nearly £500 worth of BW goodies sold.

On behalf of everyone who had a great day out, a truly MASSIVE THANK YOU to Helen Hatton and Dawn Briggs for undertaking the organisation of this very popular event.

There are so many other people to thank as well. All the volunteers and stall holders, who
included –

  • Sue Bailey Williams
  • Christine (Dog Show judge) & Mike Hartland
  • Linz Ash
  • Rob & Jenny Gregory
  • Jinny Syson
  • Matt Ellery
  • Neil Bancroft
  • Karen Ellery
  • Steve & Liz
  • Tabbie Sweeney
  • Jill Sawford
  • Lynne Daffern
  • Judi Harvey
  • Karen & Ian Adams
  • Run Free Alliance

Also thank you to  all the tremendously generous sponsors and for the donations – including: CSJ Dog Food

In fact, the fantastic generosity of these sponsors will also benefit the ‘Och Aye Aarooo’ event, in Scotland in September. Special thanks too, from Clare Clark, to all the people who brought donations of treats, tinned dog food and washing powder for the Beagle Welfare Centre in Staffordshire.

Your kind donation was used in the welcome packs, raffle prizes or prizes for the 4 winners bags in each of the 5 fun dog shows:DSC_0719
  • Cutest pup
  • Best Golden Oldie
  • Prettiest Bitch
  • Handsomest dog
  • Best Welfare hound
The 15kg bag of No Grainer was also used as the 1st prize for overall Best In Show won by Welfare Hound Pebbles (photo’d with her brother Jack Colburn, and show judge Christine Hartland).
Glad it went so well. We’re looking forward to next year – CSJ Team
