I thought you should be the first person to know Wales won the Irish gamefair international gundog test today at Birr castle, as our main sponsor and someone that has supported what I have done in the last three years in building a great group of people that work as a team I wanted to share our delight with you.
The Team of Andy Fisher, Nigel Probert, Paul Hobbs and Michael Jones did Wales proud today, not only have they shown that they are all first class gundog handlers but the way they competed as a team was excellent.
Andy just missed out on top international retriever by one point again showing that he can compete at the very highest level year in year out, both Nigel Paul and Michael had excellent rounds scoring well and showing how important it is to run and score for the team.
After the international test the team entered the open gundog test and again it was Wales that came out on top with Nigel winning the top overall gundog award, so all in all a very good day at the office for the boys.
I am sure that if there had been a award for the best turned out team we would have won that as well as the boys did look smart in the CSJ red of Wales.
Ceri as the Wales team captain I would like to thank you for supporting this team and having the faith to stick by them and I know they will all be in contact to thank you themselves as soon as they can.
