“We were at the Rural Seaside Show at Southsea this weekend and it was a great show.” said Terena Plowright. “Loads of people aw the CSJ banner and wanted to discuss what I was feeding Sweep.”
There were heavy horse displays, donkey rides, archery taster sessions, welly throwing and tug of war, sheep grazing, market stalls, Punch and Judy, basket weaving, ferret racing, dog show, classic cars, children’s rides, refreshments and much more!
One of the attractions at this year’s show, was a chance to meet Terena Plowright, who appeared on BBC Countryfile on Sunday, 28th Feb. Terena was talking about Sheep Watch UK, a national campaign which is trying to reduce the number of dog attacks on sheep. Sheepwatch UK is asking Farmers to put signs up warning people when sheep are in the field, then asking people to put their dogs on a lead when they are near the sheep.
Terena was at the Rural Seaside Show this year and lots of people came to meet her and Sweep and ask questions about their dog. Sweep and Terena were working in the arena every day with their geese. Find out more about Terena Plowright
