The WSCC Working Assessment Tests for Any Variety Spaniel

 
The Welsh Springer Spaniel Club (WSSC) held their Autumn Working Assessment Tests on Saturday 21st Sept at Hall Farm, Abbots Ripton, near Huntingdon by kind permission of John Fellowes, 4th Lord de Ramsey with judges: Mr Roy Ellershaw [2766] (N&O) & Mrs Jane Sutherland (N&O).

It was a really hot day so I am sure that the dogs appreciated the fact that much of the day was in shady woods but that there were also water retrieves for each test.

The results are as follows (dogs WSSs unless specified):

Novice – 1. & BH River Bank Bremner (Clumber) handled by Robert Lawson, 2. Kingsknoll Hercules (Clumber) handled by Tim Poole, 3. Ruelowhills Zeus (Clumber) handled by Kevan Hawkes, 4 Seolfre Bombay Saphire handled by Gary Barstow, COM. Kingsknoll Sebastian (Clumber) handled by Julie Poole.

Open – 1 & BH Madadhbhan Clements At Seolfre (Clumber) by Gary Barstow, 2. Isfryn Peeping Tom JW handled by Tina Smith, 3. River Bank Bremner (Clumber) handled by Robert Lawson, 4. Blythway Sunflower Gold handled by Fiona Stevenson, COM Kingsknoll Hercules (Clumber) – Tim Poole.

The judge’s choice for Best In Tests was Robert Lawson with River Bank Bremner .
