How Logan got involved in the sport…
“I bought Ned in October 2015 when he was 7 months old for the farm. I bought him from Stuart George. I was then lucky enough to have lessons with Angie Driscoll and in May 2016 I competed in my first trial – Obley Novice Class 2 and came away with first. The love and passion for the sport has grown from here.”
More success…
Logan says his most memorable success was at Blackwood in August 2016 but he also made the Carmarthenshire Nursery team and was a reserve team member for South Wales at the All Wales Nursery final again with Ned.
He also won the Young Handlers at the Ffos Y Fran trial and was lucky enough to win a lesson with Aled Owen.
But then…
Logan qualified for the new Young Handler Competition at the CSJ sponsored World Trials held in July and became Reserve World Champion, only 3 points behind the winner from Norway!
Not content with that, in August at the International Sheepdog Trials…
Less than 2 years after their partnership began Logan Williams and Ned have won the International Young Handler Championship competition at Lodge Park near Cheltenham.
