How Madison got involved in the sport
Mum Danielle told CSJ,
“Madison has been running since she was 3/4 and once she was older she started canicross with one of us, we soon realised we couldn’t keep up with her!
Madison had amazing mentors in fellow canicrossers Chris Reade and Lucy Mathews who between them have helped her endlessly with training plans, encouragement and above all been there to race with her, without them she wouldn’t be able to compete.”
The fantastic 2019/2020 season
Madison is legally old enough to compete and has had an amazing first season… being the youngest competitor this year at the Trophee des Montagnes, Canix events, the BSSF and European Championship and managing to achieve the following successes:-

The family have 5 dogs
Three working dogs – Bronte English pointer age 4, Bella aged 2, a Working Cocker Spaniel and Lilly a German Pointer x Greyhound 8 months.
Two older pets – Molly and Bonnie
Bella the Spaniel is Madison’s training dog as she can handle her by herself.
Bronte is her race dog when attached with a speedy adult!
Lilly is hopefully her future race dog!
